Features
The Ventus Micro delivers unparalleled functionality and standoff range relative to its size, weight and power (SWaP). It pairs the latest 10 um pixel pitch HOT MWIR long-life cooled core with a detector-specific 16-180 mm folded zoom lens and adds the advanced image processing features and universal integration offered by Sierra-Olympic electronics. Powerful image processing algorithms include one-touch autofocus, electronic image stabilization, Adaptive Contrast Control (CLAHE/LAP), onboard video and still storage, and a range of optional features including target detection and tracking.
The camera was designed specifically for space-constrained integrations in airborne and other low-SWaP applications. It weighs just over 800 grams and will fit into a 150 mm (6″) space claim.
